# 9 Blogland Lane

Hello neighbors! Here I am in my back yard, ready to cool off in the pool and cook kabobs on the grill. I can see Renee at # 9 and 3/4 walking from her mailbox carrying what looks like ten pounds of cards and well wishes, and my friend Lolo has already dropped by twice today, much to my delight. I'll be calling Marion to see if she wants to read some poetry together tonight, and I am so damn glad I can see Baino's house from my front door. And I saw Mim and her DH riding by on their bikes a couple of hours ago, waving with big smiles on their faces.
.
I am getting in the groove of visiting my new neighbors and old friends and I have to say it's a blast. Have you been to Wieneke's gift shop and cafe at # 100? Are you signing up for Soulbrush's fantastic adult education course ? I wonder when Sonia's pub will open, and Deborah's Mexican Restaurant?
.
I could go on. We're quite a creative loving group. But for now I'll just hope this posts as it should, and I'll say I think we may be on to something both passionately fun and surprisingly important.
.
xoxo

  3. Such fun. I hope I'll be up and ready to roll, erm I mean chink glasses soon. . Sonia's got the pub? Damn . . I was a bit slow off the mark there! Maybe a bushwalking club, wine appreciation society, parenting classes erm . .I need to spend more time on this verandah cogitating my contribution! Cheers!

  4. kj,
May I make a suggestion? - I belonged to a Haiku group blog. Members, as they post, would put their name as a tag on their post. That way it was easy to see who had posted and viewers/readers can easily click on the tag to see all posts by that particular member.

  5. I found some beautiful shells this morning on my beach walk. I'll bring a few of them over for you to set by the pool.

  6. Number nine. Cool. I should find myself a number and a house. Sleeping in that beach house will be a little draughty from time to time. Besides: the floors aren't flat. I just haven't figured out yet exactly what place I want on Blogland Lane.
I'll check out the next post with who lives where.
