To be set up as an author, please send an e-mail to:

I'll log in at least once a day, add anyone who has sent me an e-mail, and send an e-mail to them to notify them that they have been added.  That will give you rights to create a post here.  I am going to create my blogland lane posts directly here, because I don't know that someone who wasn't a blogland lane reader/poster would "get it" if they came across my blog.

My thought is this site be left completely "open" to the authors to create as they please.  Blogger will support that up to 100 authors-if we grow beyond that, we'll have to figure something else out.
