Holiday Priorities

Sometimes all it takes is dreams about all the jellybeans you could ever want.
.
Sometimes a certain rabbit thinks that her priorities are a lot smarter than most people's.
.
And sometimes this certain rabbit gets so gleefully mad she throws frozen peas at the kitchen window.
.
And in that instance she also thinks she is a lot smarter than most people.

  5. Emily, you've done it again! How very intelligent of you to write such awesome prose! But have you ever thought of throwing jelly beans, instead of those peas? Don't get mad now, just think about it. You'd save your teeth, and those jellybeans are a lot harder than peas...they might even go THROUGH the window...making a bigger statement! See what I mean?

  7. Oliver the parrot must have caught Emily's mind wave. I hung a beautiful crown in his cage and he was furious. I am free to hang things all I want, but HIS cage-NO NO NO.

I felt really bad, then I realized that sometimes that's what the holidays do to us-we push what we want/think on other people.

For those of you who don't read my other blog-Oliver the parrot is a real African Grey, and wise as wise can be.

  8. Debra,

I once had the greatest pleasure of knowing an African Grey. I was forever amazed at his sensitivity and wisdom! I still see him on occasion...I believe he remembers me each time I see him.
