Hope Hope Hope Hope Hope

Dear friends on Blogland Lane,

I have been reading a blog called Weldable Cookies written by Dawn who lives in Maine. Dawn would like very much to get married, and is waiting to hear if the voters of Maine will allow that. I don't recall having to ask the voters of Michigan if I could get married. Hmmmm. In any case, I am hoping you will join me in sending all your positive thoughts and energy to the State of Maine tonight as Dawn and all the other people who have worked SO HARD over the last few months await the election results. Dawn has been eloquent and passionate and nearly worked herself into a hospital bed.

There are scientists who believe that the combined force of human desire can actually affect events. Tonight, I want you to hope with me for No on 1/Marriage Equality.

I am on pins and needles. I hope Dawn is holding up.

  3. I didn't see this until it was all over. One day.....fear won't rule the world. But not this day. I'm sorry.
