The Holidays Begin....

My Mother's House, 2009
Thanksgiving is over and I am thinking of how I want to spend the three weeks until Christmas: who I want to spend time with, what I want to cook or bake, how I will give presents and to whom.
.
I like Christmas. Last night I made up some "holiday" cards from photographs I've taken, including this one from my Mother's house a few weeks ago. If any of my friends on Blogland Lane would like a Christmas card from me, just shoot me an email (karenjasper@comcast.net) with your address and it will be my pleasure to send you one.
.
This is the time of year when I look backward and forward at the same time. I feel joy and sadness at the same time. But there is always one constant: love. I love deeply and sometimes I've been reckless. But I believe in love, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
.
And by the way, how are we on Blogland Lane going to celebrate the holidays together?
.
Any ideas?
Love
kj

  3. I'll be travelling this Christmas season. As a result, I'm not decorating, apart from a few lights outside. Can I post a picture of the exterior of my home...or are these pictures of our homes on Blogland Lane?

Sounds like a great idea, Marianne!

  4. Oh, KJ, I would like to send you a special Dutch christmas card and receive one from you too, but I cannot mail you my address because all mails to you are bouncing. And I don´t want to put my address here in the reactionbox.
Maybe Hildegarde can help. I have told her the problem.
