"What is essential is invisible to the eye."

Questioning Success?

"And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Wise words of the fox in The Little Prince
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
What if all that you dreamed possible
were within your reach?
Would you allow life's geyser to flow?
Or would you cap the steaming pressure
and remain, determinedly, contained?
Would fear stop you from accepting
everything that is coming your way?
How can we feel worthy enough to accept
and open up to the life we've always wanted?
How can we know that this gift is not only possible,
but here?
Interrogating reality...
  1. Would fear stop me??? Perhaps at one time but now - the more I love God, the more I appreciate His gifts. He loves it when we dream, reach, make ourselves real. That He loves us makes us worthy. The life we are meant to have is what we end up creating for ourselves through Him. Free from fear is freedom to be open to all the possibilities.
  4. Kj, I appreciate your words and encouragement too. I once created a script in college for a puppet show using the fox, prince, and the rose from The Little Prince. I continue to reflect on the profound insights about human nature found in this book. I modify their meaning as I experience life. Thanks for your blog-friendship.
  5. I have hopes for the next year opening up and letting me accept things that come my way. I tell my therapist I am not sure I have the 'drive' to write a book or expand my blogs to earn me money or lost 20# but those are some goals of mine.
